Cold Brew

The cool and the crisp

Prep It

  • Food Scale (Recommended)
  • Quality Burr Grinder (Recommended)
  • 62.5 Grams of your favorite Kamiak Coffee (Ground if you dont have a grinder)
  • Any drip or auto drip with a paper filter
  • A vessel (4 cups worth) to steep 
  • 500 Grams of good tasting water (Roughly 2.25 Cups) 

Brew It

  • Grind your Kamiak Coffee to a very coarse grind size
  • In the vessel, combine 62.5g of coffee with 500g of quality water (1:8 coffee:water ratio by weight 
  • Stir to make sure all grounds are submerged in the water
  • Let the mixture steep for 12-24 hours at room temperature. Give it a stir about halfway through
  • After steeping, prep your drip coffee maker with your filter
  • Rinse the filter with hot water to remove papery taste
  • Filter the cold brew mixture through the filter
  • Store coffee in the fridge
  • When ready to drink, use 1 part cold brew with 1 part cold good tasting water
