Tasting Notes
This beautiful coffee out of Tanzania is an incredibly approachable light roast. Very clean profile with subtle notes of honeydew, agave sweetness, and a mild peatiness.Â
About the Farm
AMCOS, short for Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Society, is Tanzania’s cooperative model for connecting smallholder coffee farmers to the broader specialty market. Through shared processing, quality control, and export access, AMCOS groups help farmers combine their harvests, improve consistency, and earn better value for their coffee. These cooperatives play a major role in Tanzania’s coffee industry and are especially important in regions like the Southern Highlands, where smallholder farms produce bright, complex, high-elevation coffees.
